How many voicemail messages can a mailbox store?
A voicemail box can store a total of 500 messages.
What if I exceed this total?
Your mailbox may automatically lock to prevent any additional messages from being stored. If you exceed the storage capacity of a mailbox and have difficulty deleting old messages please submit a ticket. You may also clear old voicemail messages via the web based voicemail portal.
What if I need to store more than 500 voicemail messages?
Please submit a ticket asking to have your voicemail messages forwarded to an email address of your choice. Please be sure to ask the Helix Telecom technician to delete the voicemails after they are sent. All voicemails will be forwarded to you via email and removed from the mailbox after they are sent. This will allow you to receive a virtually unlimited number of voicemail messages without exceeding your voicemail storage quota.
