Helix Telecom has begun a infrastructure modernization project in August, 2026. Documentation, links, instructions and processes related to provisioning equipment, customer portal, voicemail portal, ticket management, SMS, MMS, Fax, softphones, email communications may be incomplete or inaccurate. How do I enable incoming SMS messages on my account?

Beginning January 1, 2026 all customers must obtain a valid Campaign Registry Identification Number to send or receive SMS messages. If you do not have a Campaign Registry Identification Number assigned to your account then please click here to apply for a new identification number.

Please note some Helix Telecom phone numbers do not support SMS services. Please follow the instructions below to enable SMS services on your phone number then test the service by sending a test message to your Helix Telecom phone number(s) from a cell phone to confirm everything is working properly.

If you would like to enable SMS and MMS messaging on your account then please submit a ticket. Once enabled, incoming messages appear on the Helix text message website at https://text.phone123.me. Sign in with the same login and password you use for the customer portal. Authorized Users can always sign in; Portal Users can sign in when an account owner has enabled SMS Access for their login (see How to add a new Portal User?).

Until October 1, 2026 incoming messages can also be emailed to your account. Customers may elect to have all incoming SMS messages on all phone numbers sent to as many as 50 email addresses. Customers may also elect to route messages from specific phone numbers to specific email addresses. After October 1, 2026 please sign in at https://text.phone123.me to send and receive messages.

To set up email delivery, include the email addresses in your ticket request. For example..

“I would like all incoming messages on my account sent to test@test.com. I would also like messages from 17025551212 forwarded too janedoe@test.com and messages from 12025551212 forwarded too johndoe@mail.com”.

The Helpdesk Department will notify you when your request is complete.
