How to add a new portal user.

The following instructions only apply to Authorized Users or Account Owners.

Authorized Users can add and remove access too the following modules:

  • Fax Access - Ability to send, receive and download faxes.
  • SMS Access - Ability to send, receive and review/search SMS messages.
  • Call Log Access - Ability to view, search and download call logs, view reports, view switch logs.
  • Phonebook Access - Ability to manage the centralized phonebook for Grandstream phones.
  • Admin Access - Add and remove other Portal Users, manage the virtual PBX, manage programmable key profiles for Grandstream phones.

Follow these instructions to add a Portal User to your account:

  • If you have multiple accounts then you will be prompted to select an account. Select the account you would like to view.
  • Scroll down to the ACCOUNT INFORMATION & ACCESS section. This section is labeled with a green bar.
  • Scroll down to the Portal Users section. This section is a lighter green bar.
  • Locate the ADD PORTAL USER field.
  • Enter the email address of the Portal User who you would like to add into the ADD PORTAL USER field. This email address can be your own email address or another party who should have access to specific account modules.
  • Click the SAVE ICON immediately to the right of the ADD PORTAL USER field.
  • The screen will reload.
  • Under PORTAL USERS section confirm the portal user email address was successfully added to the list of Portal Users.
  • To the right of each Portal User is a list of available modules. If you would like to disable access to a specific module then click the DISABLE link for the module. If you would like to enable access to a specific module then click the ENABLE link for the module. The screen will refresh after each click.

If you are signed using the email address of a Portal User then you may scroll to the top of the page then click module links found on the top right hand corner of the screen.

For all other parties they must create a portal account and sign in to access the portal modules. Click here to view instructions for the Portal User to create an account and sign in to the portal.
