Customers may create as many private rooms as needed. We recommend choosing room names unique to your organization.

• Visit http://chat.helixtelecom.com and login. If you are new then click Register a new account at the bottom of the page.
• Once you are logged in click the + sign to the right of PRIVATE GROUPS.
• You will be prompted to enter a NAME and MEMBERS.

• In the NAME field enter the name of your private group. We strongly recommend choosing a new unique to your organization. For example.. If your organization is named “Car Care Inc” then, as an example, enter “CarCareInc”. If you need different rooms by department then you might enter “CarCareIncStaff” and “CarCareIncManagers”. These are just examples.
• In the MEMBERS field enter the username of each employee you would like to add.

• Click SAVE when finished. You will automatically join the new Private Room.

If you would like to add additional staff members after the room is created then simply enter /INVITE followed by the name of the person you would like to invite to join the private room.
