Can I send a fax to an international number?

Customers should be aware the telecommunications infrastructure in many countries does not possess the same reliability or quality as the United States and Canada. For this reason delivery of international faxes, either due to the quality of the infrastructure or differences in fax machine standards, is not as reliable. Customers should keep this in mind when choosing between sending a document to a fax number or emailing the document.

Helix Telecom customers who would like to send a fax to an international number must meet these requirements:

• The fax must be sent from a Helix Telecom fax adapter connected to a properly configured fax machine;
• The fax must be sent too 011 + country code + the phone number;
• The customer must maintain a positive international calling balance for the fax to be delivered.

For our customer's security Helix Telecom's eFax service does not support international faxing via email.

All Helix Telecom customers can receive faxes from international numbers.
