Sending a fax by email is simple. Before you can send faxes by email, the email address you send from and the Caller ID (phone number) you want faxes sent from must be registered on your account. See Registering your email address for email-to-fax.
To send a fax:
Create a new email message from your registered email address.
In the “To:” field enter the 10 digit destination fax number followed by @fax.phone123.me. For example, to send a fax to 602-555-1212, address the email to 6025551212@fax.phone123.me.
The Subject line is optional. If you include a Subject, it is printed on a cover page (along with the date and your name) in front of your fax document. If you leave the Subject blank, no cover page is added and only your attached document is faxed.
The body of the email is not included on the cover page.
Attach the document you want to fax in
PDF or TIF format. Emails without a
PDF or TIF attachment cannot be sent, and you will receive an email with instructions for resending.
Click SEND.
After your fax is processed you will receive a final email confirming delivery or explaining why delivery failed, including a log of the delivery attempts. See Understanding your fax delivery receipt.
Older fax addresses ending in @fax100.helixtelecom.com or @fax100.phone123.me are no longer used for sending faxes. Emails sent to those addresses receive a reply asking you to contact support for the current fax address.
