My automatic call recordings have strange names. What is the file naming convention for incoming calls?

Files are named using the following format.

IN-<HELIX TELECOM ACCOUNT NUMBER>-CID_<CALLER ID NUMBER>-TO_<PHONE NUMBER CALLER DIALED>-EXT_<EXTENSION NUMBER ANSWERED THE CALL>-UNIQUEID_<RANDOM NUMBER>.mp3

For example.. If the file is named:

IN-20010-CID_77759886852-TO_6233213933_EXT_1099VM_UNIQUEID_1397335606.564534.mp3

  • The call was for account number 20010.
  • The CallerID of the caller was 77759886852.
  • The phone number dialed was 6233213933.
  • The extension that answered the phone was 1099.
  • The VM indicates the call was routed to voicemail.
  • A CallerID of 9999999999 indicates the CallerID Number was anonymous or blocked.
