What happens my payment is late?
Helix Telecom is a prepaid service. All invoices are generated 10 days in advance of the next billing cycle and are due before the next billing cycle begins. If an invoice is not paid after 240 hours then late fees are assessed. Helix Telecom will apply late fees until the account is terminated.
Upon termination of an account Helix Telecom will assess a Account Recovery Fee. This fee must be paid before re-activating phone numbers on a new account.
Helix Telecom may choose to disable or close accounts for any reason. If a customer's payment is returned for any reason the account may be considered delinquent and subject to termination.
Why am I receiving an invoice mid-billing cycle?
Customers may receive invoices for toll free time or additional products or services mid-cycle.
I am setup for auto-pay. Why am I being told my invoice is late?
If your payment method was declined or returned then the reason is noted on your most recent invoice. If you need additional assistance please reply to your most recent invoice and a member of our staff will be happy to review your request.
My service was interrupted for non-payment. I paid the overdue invoice but my service has not been restored.
If your service was interrupted for non-payment then Helix Telecom requires all outstanding invoices to be paid before service can be restored.
What happens after my account is terminated?
Helix Telecom does not report late payments or terminated accounts to 3rd parties. Failure to pay outstanding invoices will not affect your ability to sign up for service in the future and will not affect your credit report.
Customers who would like to activate phone numbers or devices found on a previously terminated account must pay all balances on the previous account before phone numbers or devices can be moved to a new account.
Please keep in mind upon termination any phone numbers on the account may be cancelled. Upon cancellation the numbers are relinquished by Helix Telecom to the North American Number Plan Authority (NANPA). In many cases these numbers will become unavailable and cannot be re-activated by Helix Telecom. Any prepaid balances or credits will also be relinquished upon termination of an account. Helix Telecom does not refund deposits or credits for terminated accounts.
