How to order a phone number.
- If you have multiple accounts then you will be prompted to select an account. Select the account you would like to add a phone number too.
- Scroll to the top of the page.
- Click the yellow CHOOSE SECTION pull-down.
- Select ORDER EXTENSIONS & NUMBERS from the list of options.
- Your screen should scroll too the ORDER EXTENSIONS & NUMBERS section.
Helix Telecom Terms of Service requires all customers to maintain a valid payment method on file. If your payment method on file is invalid you may receive an error advising you that ordering has been disabled. Please check your most recent invoice for available payment methods and add a valid payment method such as a debit card, credit card or bank account to resume ordering products and/or services.
- Click the link labeled Click here to view available phone numbers. This will open a new tab or browser window. Do not close the order form tab/window.
- Locate the field labeled Please enter the 3 digit area code. Enter the 3 digit area code you would like to order a number from.
- If you would like to view special order phone numbers for an additional charge click the box labeled Check this box to include special order phone numbers in your result.
- Click the green button labeled CLICK TO BEGIN SEARCH.
- Please wait for the search results to appear on your screen. You may need to scroll down the page to view the search results if the header text occupies a substantial portion of your browser.
- Locate the phone number you would like to order. If no search results appear choose a different area code or check the box labeled Check this box to include special order phone numbers in your result and repeat your search.
- Copy and paste the phone number from the Number Search Form to the Order Form. The Order Form can accept up to 5 phone numbers.
The order form will also allow customers to choose a random phone number from a three digit area code or random phone number matching the first 6 digits of the number. All customers should confirm phone numbers for a specific area code or exchange are in stock but customers are not required to choose a specific phone number.
- The MAXIMUM AUTHORIZED CHARGES field will be updated to reflect the maximum potential cost for the number of extensions you requested. If you would like to obtain a quote for new service please submit a support request. Most quotes are provided within 1 business day.
- Click the PLACE ORDER button.
- You should receive an order confirmation.
- Orders are processed by the Support Department during normal business hours. Most orders submitted during business hours are completed within 15 minutes but may take as long as 1 business day.
