How do I report an outbound call failure to Helix Telecom?
If an outbound call fails for any reason please follow these instructions to report the issue.
- Note the error, message or problem with the outbound call.
- Hang up the call.
- Lift the handset.
- Dial 4385278243 (also spells “GETLASTCID”).
- The system will play back the Call Identification Number for the most recent call placed from your extension. Write down the complete Call Identification Number. The system will repeat the Call Identification Number several times before the call is disconnected.
- Submit A Ticket the same day you received the error. Include the Call Identification Number and description of the error.
Helix Telecom strongly recommends obtaining several Call Identification Numbers before submitting your request. If your office is experiencing a high percentage of failed calls then obtain Call Identification Numbers from multiple staff members or locations. If the call is delivered to a phone number not owned by Helix Telecom then we will report the issue but the carrier may not investigate or respond.
